Are you for or against buff damage?
A great game requires teamwork AND skills both equally. You can’t just reward teamwork, it’s non sense.

If your friend gives you brass knuckles to punch someone in the face, unless you have the skills it’s not going to be easy even if you have an advantage.

In Brink, once your damage gets buffed, it’s a joke…
Stop complaining, and start playing with a good engineer. Obviously you need someone to buff you since you must die to buffed guns a lot.

I’ve taken out buffed heavies with miniguns by pulling slick moves. Maybe you should get better?

Sorry I have no pleasure owning powerless people with my damage buffed. You need to realize also that if everyone will end up being buff…

Than why the hell would it even be in the game? You’ll see in a few weeks, when everyone are going to get out entirely buffed from the spawn points you’ll remember this thread… Buffing is going to become mostly superficial. Players will let themselves die once they run out of action slots and come back buffed again.

Anyway. Thundermuffin was very clear on the subject. If you can’t understand how skills are as important as teamwork, then I strongly recommend you to study math, logic and game design. But to have a balance of both you also need a certain pacing. When a buffed player faces a normal opponent, that pacing isn’t adapted; it’s broken. The game should force players to buff their teammate, it should rather be a tactical decision otherwise you will end up with the situation mentioned above.
