Are we likely to see any bug fixes with the next sound & map update?

Well you should read the rules first and how the flags work. I can be negative as much as I want. Doesn’t allow you to assume my post is advertising something or flatout flooding the forum like the Asian bots do.

Besides that I already said what I think. I really liked the game and for a long time believed into it. But the last…Lets say 1 year, from the WtD event, showed me that this project won’t be as successful as other games for various reasons I already listed in different threads. I’m still sad about the fact.
I got a lot of online friends through this game. Everyone was a dedicated player, some were streamers and so on. Right now only 1/16 of them is playing DB at all.
Besides that, it’s pretty intolerant if you only allow positive posts and watch this game through pink glasses when it’s obviously objectively in a state with many, many, many heavy issues.
But as already said, it does not matter what I say or think because the majority of people here don’t like and don’t want negativity for some reason, even if this negativity has a point. I’m obviously an arse because I don’t praise and like everything that SD and Nexon are doing.

I don’t generally agree with you, but damn.
Well said.

Can ya’ll stop flooding my inbox with mentions thankyouverybloodymuch?

Let me take us back to where this particular conflict started.

Sad jokes aside. I don’t believe they can handle it in an update that isn’t made for bugfixing when they failed it so badly in an update that was primairly centered around fixing bugs.[/quote]

I called you out on this hogwash, presented the evidence why it’s nonsense. I even specifically said a couple comments below “-- dislike the decisions, its even preferable if its displayed in a constructive way because just waving yay for stuff won’t make it better, criticism is needed for that.” To re-iterate, only complimenting and presenting positive things doesn’t make anything progress, but neither does baseless negative babbling. Both cons and pros have to be presented in a constructive manner or at least offer a proper, sane solution or suggestion.

You weren’t there doing any of that. Now if people are disagreeing with you because you’re just negative, thats wrong. However disagreeing with you because you just presented bullshit is fine. In this thread, this moment. Sometimes somewhere you have presented actual facts to base your opinions to.

Believe it or not some here aren’t having “pink glasses” just because they know what to criticize SD of and what not.

Select the most appropriate reaction to an update intended to fix bugs that instead made existing bugs worse, created new bugs, and reduced framerates for a number of players:

  1. Criticism
  2. you’re not “entitled” to anything. moop
  3. Disagree
  4. Are we likely to see any bug fixes with the next sound & map update?
  5. @bontsa

The fact of the matter as I see it is that the event Splash Damage hoped would help remove bugs ended up creating/releasing some bugs. That is the fact.
Unfortunately some people also add in “Splash Damage you SUCK!” over and over again. I don’t see how “Splash Damage you SUCK!” actually helps with any of the problems. It doesn’t provide any real constructive feedback. I find it to be completely unnecessary negativity.

Don’t get me wrong I know for a fact that negativity is necessary. It is important to look at ones flaws. I find it completely unnecessary to put people down for them though. People make mistakes and are not perfect. Expecting perfection of them or judging them based on some perfect image only leads to the same thing being expected/demanded of the person judging. That is not something I wish upon anybody.

Negativity has it’s place but always being negative often leads to bad things. Take for instance a child constantly being told they are worthless and pathetic by their parents… by their friends… by society. Either they themselves are going to grow up being negative or they will end their pain permanently. I know some days I wish I did. I know my friend actually did. He was barely over a decade old. Those bullies thought it was real funny making fun of him and putting him down. They laughed and laughed right up till the day he killed himself… They stopped laughing after that. They never forgot either…

if you want to really see what being negative all the time leads to l always look at all the monsters and villains in every movie, show and video game. They often only care about what they want. It is always about their vision of perfection. Everyone else is simply a slave or a tool for them to use. Granted they do often lead to change occurring instantly but at the cost of lives and experiences.

Now given this fact: The event Splash Damage hoped would help remove bugs ended up creating/releasing some bugs
There is a difference in saying…
I think you are awesome SD. I believe you can do it.
YOU SUCK SD! I believe you can’t do anything right.
And
Yeah SD you kind of broke my game. Could you fix it soon please? I am having these issues… Could you also maybe try doing this…?

Whether positive or negative, I don’t find either of the first two to be really constructive in nature. They are just opinions that have become redundant over the years. They are always there and are not going away anytime soon. Some one always agrees and some one always disagrees. I find the third to actually be helpful and constructive.
I feel the third is what we need more here and not the other two.

“I’m obviously an arse because I don’t praise and like everything that SD and Nexon are doing.”

But @Jostabeere all these unnecessary and random buffs and nerfs to weapons and mercs should be praised :open_mouth: , simeon totally needed a damage buff, hochfir ofcourse also needed an even higher rate of fire, praise sd for their amazing ideas.

Jeeze, sarcasm is real.

Honestly, we should look at those testing the game prior to release. Do they have the necessary KOALA-fications?

YOU are testing the game, remember, the whole purpose of you being here. You signed up to TEST a game
