The fact of the matter as I see it is that the event Splash Damage hoped would help remove bugs ended up creating/releasing some bugs. That is the fact.
Unfortunately some people also add in “Splash Damage you SUCK!” over and over again. I don’t see how “Splash Damage you SUCK!” actually helps with any of the problems. It doesn’t provide any real constructive feedback. I find it to be completely unnecessary negativity.
Don’t get me wrong I know for a fact that negativity is necessary. It is important to look at ones flaws. I find it completely unnecessary to put people down for them though. People make mistakes and are not perfect. Expecting perfection of them or judging them based on some perfect image only leads to the same thing being expected/demanded of the person judging. That is not something I wish upon anybody.
Negativity has it’s place but always being negative often leads to bad things. Take for instance a child constantly being told they are worthless and pathetic by their parents… by their friends… by society. Either they themselves are going to grow up being negative or they will end their pain permanently. I know some days I wish I did. I know my friend actually did. He was barely over a decade old. Those bullies thought it was real funny making fun of him and putting him down. They laughed and laughed right up till the day he killed himself… They stopped laughing after that. They never forgot either…
if you want to really see what being negative all the time leads to l always look at all the monsters and villains in every movie, show and video game. They often only care about what they want. It is always about their vision of perfection. Everyone else is simply a slave or a tool for them to use. Granted they do often lead to change occurring instantly but at the cost of lives and experiences.
Now given this fact: The event Splash Damage hoped would help remove bugs ended up creating/releasing some bugs
There is a difference in saying…
I think you are awesome SD. I believe you can do it.
YOU SUCK SD! I believe you can’t do anything right.
And
Yeah SD you kind of broke my game. Could you fix it soon please? I am having these issues… Could you also maybe try doing this…?
Whether positive or negative, I don’t find either of the first two to be really constructive in nature. They are just opinions that have become redundant over the years. They are always there and are not going away anytime soon. Some one always agrees and some one always disagrees. I find the third to actually be helpful and constructive.
I feel the third is what we need more here and not the other two.
