Are we going to get any more every-merc-free events?

I have a few friends who I think would like DB, but Aura, Skyhammer and whoever is on freerotation usually aren’t ideal when most of these people are coming from other games, and want a merc to fit the playstyle they used outside of DB. So, has SD given any hints that they might be looking to start another one of those events?

I’d especially like to see one for 1.0. Easier to get players hooked when they can get their first impressions playing the merc they want in the playstyle they want, rather than the merc they’re given in the playstyle required by that merc.

maybe Try-A-Merc system is better
eliminating the 3 rotation and just give people a day of free trial of each merc.
if it fits their playstyle they can buy it with their first 30K
merc that has their trial day finished gets a discount if you buy with real money.

or just point them to the starter bundle.

What they need to add is a shooting range/empty maps with all chatacters unlocked. This way noobs can try out every merc so see which one they want. And for ffs can we get the offline mode back??? Practicing jumps/finding new jumps on new maps is a pain in the ass now that we cant get into offline mode

A shooting range is still really different from actual in-game combat though.
Of course it would still be great, but its not really enough
