Are there any plans of adding new merc specific melee weapons to existing mercs like sawbonez?

I’m not sure if they’re really planning to give Sawbonz a bone saw. To be honest a bone saw makes for a terrible weapon. Too slow, too bulky, would get caught on clothing to easily.

That’s not to say more melee weapons can’t be added. I would love to see a cutlass, straight sword, or even some sort of brass knuckles or gloves with hard knuckles.

@Grave_Knight yeah true, it wouldnt be a very good weapon. But the cricket bat works well, so they’ll probably find a way to make a saw work aswell

Yeah but the Cricket Bat is basically a truncheon. There is no weapon that is both simple and effective as bludgeoning something to death. Sure you don’t get as quick a kill as you would with a spear or sword, but when your enemy’s brain is leaking out of his skull you can be sure he’s dead or worse.
