I don’t know of any ET maps of this kind either.
I think no one builds a capture and hold map because it is different from the gameplay ET players are used to.
It also make people find a good position and stay there and that’s boring…
I think that for a change, someone should create a map where both sides have an objective so there won’t be a situation that one team have to spend much effort just getting to the objective while the other team just place a few mines and sit on the guard just in case someone would get to the objective.
Maybe a way to make fireteams more important, like creating a map that would give the team a reason to split up, let’s say fireteam alpha must get to point A before the enemy does to get an advantage, fireteam beta would have to stop the enemies from getting to their objective in point X and fireteam delta would go to point B, get the objective and follow a path that goes through point A where their friends or enemies are dominating according to the fireteam alpha’s success.
In the meantime, the other team would have to split up to fireteam alpha that would go and captue point A, fireteam beta that would go and destroy their objective in point X and fireteam delta that would try to stop the enemies from getting to point B.
It is complicated but I like maps which are more complicated than just attack and defend and besides, creating a map is not just makiing it look good…
