Appearance Menu Option Continually Flashing (Xbox 360)

I haven’t seen anyone report this here yet, but did find one topic on the Xbox.com forums with no solutions.

I pre-ordered the game from Amazon.com and got the Psycho Pack. The email with the Psycho-Pack code didn’t get sent to me until the day after I received the game (May 11). I had already created my character and leveled up to around level 10. Once I received the my pre-order bonus code, I submitted it and installed the Psycho Pack.

Once I did this, I had all of the yellow indicators on my character letting me know that there were new items available (this is the way it should be so far). I went through all of the items on both the Resistance and Security side to clear out all of the yellow indicators (I did this for both weapons and appearance, and ensured that I did’t have any new abilities I could buy).

Upon backing out to the main menu, I noticed that the Character Customization and Weapons option was flashing - like it does when you have new unlocks. I double and triple checked to make sure that I didn’t have any new items available to choose from, but it still continues to flash.

This isn’t game breaking, but it is pretty annoying. Does anyone else have this issue? Hopefully the developers at Splash Damage see this, and fix it in the next Title Update along with the lag issues.

Yeh that has happened to me also. Im thinking its still flashing because of the tattoos that are hidden now that you have already put on. Im not sure how to fix it.

This will happen every time you create a new character (He is not considered fully unlocked) as well and with 20 lvl characters too. . Also, many times this features works as a reminder for what outfits you have yet to choose. This is my experience. Its like a visual clue that you didn’t select something or use it in-game.

That happened to my lvl 20 operative as well with clothing…it still says there’s something new to check out by flashing at the main menu, despite the fact I have looked at every single appearance item and body type over 5 times now. I have OCD, and it really bothers me that it flashes every time I go to the main menu, but thankfully I dislike playing OP, so I generally don’t use that character almost at all.

Clearly this is supposed to happen because SD fully polished this game for about a year

its because you cant change your tats, they just get locked out.
