Anyway to delete DLC?

Even though I’ve installed, and restarted steam, verified game cache, the maps from the DLC aren’t showing up anywhere. (But I have the abilities, clothing, etc…)

So is there a way I can go in and delete the DLC so I can re-install it? I’ve searched but can’t find how to. Thanks.

You’ll have to reinstall brink.

So you don’t see the new maps in your campaign menu?

Nope, and when I go into freeplay, most servers just show a blank space where the map is suppose to be and if I try to join it just kicks me out.

EDIT: Steam is installing the dlc again. (I don’t think I even did anything).

2nd EDIT: Okay, cool I have the maps!

These were the files that was downloaded from dlc… 480 megs try deleting that to see if you can redownload it… if not then reinstall the whole game… :confused:

find it in your steam/steamspps/common/brink/base folder

I have the same problem… only the DLC files aren’t even in the game folder… steam ain’t reinstalling this again neither

EDIT: I think I might have the solution, just let steam ‘Verify Integrity of Game Cache’ in the game properties… It said it was missing files and is downloading it again (with 15 MB difference in size than the first time)… We’ll see what happens

5 files should be acquired if you own the DLC:

[li]brink agents of change dlc.ncf located in [B]…\Steam\steamapps[/B][/li][li]zzzdlc000.sdmd2 located in …\Steam\steamapps\common\brink\base[/li][li]zzzdlc000.sdpk2 located in …\Steam\steamapps\common\brink\base[/li][li]zzzdlcenglish000.sdmd2 located in …\Steam\steamapps\common\brink\base[/li][li]zzzdlcenglish000.sdpk2 located in …\Steam\steamapps\common\brink\base[/li][/ul]

Note that other languages would acquire different files to zzzdlcenglish000.sdmd2 and zzzdlcenglish000.sdpk2. E.g. French would acquire zzzdlcfrench000.sdmd2 and zzzdlcfrench000.sdpk2.

If you have any issues, verifying the local game cache for Brink in Steam should be your first course of action.
