anyone wanna make a body.mdm for me?

i’m not a 3d artist…:frowning: having problems with all those programs… what i need is probably easy but i don’t know how to do it so i could really need some help…
i need the axis fieldops mdm to be without clothes…hmm i’m not sure how i should explain this…
but i need a model that i can texture, but without the transition to show between the clothes and hands…and the same on the legs… do you understand what i mean?

Without clothes? Or do you mean without the trenchcoat?
If yes, use the .mdm from the axis medic.

If you would send me your skinpack/mod I can take a look, or upload it somewhere to get more help.

nah, not without the trenchcoat…allready done that on everyone…that is not the hard part…but when you should make a endoskeleton skin…it looks pretty bad with clothes…lol

Do you have the texture as TGA left? You can add an alpha channel to make the black parts invisible.
Maybe it helps, then the hardest part would be the shader.

listen…i am veeery newbie at this stuff… i don’t even know what a alpha channel is…
and i never created a shader…:o

Alfa channel - Texture transparency
I learned shaders in 0.5 day, so its not hard. Google for tutorials

Then why do you want to do such advanced stuff? Perhaps you should learn the basics.

thanx:cool:

by the way AWOC…think the mod is getting along fine…even though i am a newbie…here’s the humans

(Avoc) #14

I dont understand what you mean. I’m mearly pointing out that if you dont know something as simple as alpha channels and basic shaders, then you should learn those things before entering the more advanced areas.
Nothing negative in what I said, its common sense. But I guess common sense is so common.

(twt_thunder) #15

yeah, I’m not common…

(twt_thunder) #16

never mind the mdm file…this one works well, now back to texture and alpha shader:D

(Magic) #17

hmm

me either

yes , agree

(sorry - couldent resist)

Alphachannels on playermodels?

(twt_thunder) #19

what?

(IndyJones) #20

i think that he meant its impossible to use alpha on models, and besides, if u would do so, model would look flat from other sides.
