This information has not been publicly released yet, but if you dig around lots of people are speculating.

We have been promised that it’ll be in the next update though. We just don’t know when that will be.

it’s looking like turtle currently will be the next merc. Speculation only of course.

While as far as I know; Turtle’s shield is modeled and textured, his voice lines have been finished and Phoenix, like every other merc has been completed.

Someone mentioned on the stream showing the scrub trailer that Shoe(?) told them that while he’s not confirming or denying it, mercs from the trailer might show up sooner.

Although along with that some more recent screenshots and gameplay footage shows other mercs, namely Redeye and Thunder.

These are all of the most recent mercs
So i think it is going to be Turtle. Because he is a Engineer.

Uh, it’s probably RedEye. Might seem early to release another Recon but supposedly his assets are already in the game and there is a screenshot of RedEye being murdered by Proxy floating around lately.

Has there been any mention regarding the amount of mercs released next patch? They could always give us two in one patch.

It sounds like Phoenix or Turtle might be the next mercs, but we’ll just have to wait and see! :slight_smile:

Just saw the trailer then - I think it’s pretty likely that Turtle will be released next since his involvement is the most obvious - I guess the same can be said for Phoenix.
