Anyone else think Arty's profile is a bit... lazy?

All of the other mercs released so far have had some substance to their backstory. Proxy survived the Dirty Bomb by improvising protective gear, Aura wanted to become a merc to test out the medical equipment she invented in the field, Vasilli purposely botched an assassination job on his sister, etc.

Then you have Arty, whose profile basically goes “This guy is a merc, he likes money, and uhhhhh… there’s not really much else known about him. Mysterious right?!” Sorry, but way to make a dull merc even duller. You can tell the writer the writer scrambled for this before the due date. I’d love to see an improved backstory for Arty that actually ties his personality to the Dirty Bomb universe.

Arty is one of those mercs i havent played at all basically. I might have tried him once or twice but I just dont see him being very useful.

Correct me if im wrong here but he has an airstrike thingy that can only be used outdoors and he must remain in position to lock it on the ground?. Beyond this ability, does he have anything special that he does?

Skyhammers ability is extremely powerful outdoors and doubles as a grenade indoors. Proxy puts down mines and defuses C4 faster than anyone.

Just as you say i feel that arty could use some love from the devs because right now i just dont see how he can hold is own against the other mercs.

I do however like the semiauto rifle he has, he feels like he could fit into that medium - long range fire support category. In light of this i think his ability shoud give him something similar to the heartbeat sensor aswell as the artillery strike outdoors.

Personally I like his airstrike more then sky hammers. You hold multiple strikes, and the cool down for one is much quicker. It’s really good for spamming the RV.

As for his bio, I like it. I think It fits his personally of no BS, straight to the point kind of guy.

His bio is a bit short.

But his special ability could last a bit longer, be a bit stronger, and have a bigger area of effect.

His Bio is pretty simple, but I find it fitting for the way he acts and speaks, “Heres bullets, go shoot, come back later.” as oppose to the more bombastic personality of Skyhammer and Stoker’s “Here, FEEEEED your guns, FEEEEEEED IT!”

@eggplantSafe I really think arty should have a huge ammo pool of air strikes, say equal to the numbers of bombs skyhammer’s plane drops so hell be eventually constantly calling direct air strikes, I’d trust that more than his default rifle.
