Anymore DLC?

(Wildkarrde) #1

Anyone know how much more DLC is coming(if any) or when(if ever) it’s just I’m used to knowing ahead of time if there’s going to be a certain amount so any info is good info.

It’s mainly up to Bethesda and if they want Splash Damage to work on DLC. If Bethesda does not want it, Splash Damage does not make it, simple as that.

Hopefully we get more DLC because I know I would pay for it.

(Nexolate) #3

I’d totally pay for more DLC.
Still really enjoy Brink and all, but we really need more maps to go around.

Nexo

More DLC the better. Bring it on.

Look at the map on BrinkTheGame.com. I think they have hopes (and so do I) of filling out all the gray areas with actual maps.

It’s still a numbers game, unfortunately. If they think that creating the DLC is gonna cost more than the revenue they’ll get from sales, we won’t see any more DLC. I am sure some executive has a sales intern punching those numbers in to a PowerPoint presentation as we speak.

Surely the announcement wouldn’t have been that the “first” DLC will be free, if it were to be the only one
This quantification implicitly signifies that more are planned

(Hk_Obayda) #7

I really hope so. I would absolutely pay $15 for 2 more maps, 2 more weapons, and 4 more levels/abilities!!!

(wolfnemesis75) #8

Whoa partner. $15 is asking a bit too much. $10 for 4 maps is what I want. I think there’s plenty of abilities and weapons. I was getting a headache last night trying to lockdown my Engineer build after respecing again (2 times since DLC).

(SinDonor) #9

Yeah, if I gotta pay $15, it better be for 5+ maps.

By the time the next DLC is out, my gaming time is gonna be split with BF3, MW3, GoW3, Uncharted3, Resistance3, DeusEx, NHL12, Forza4, Driver:SF, Rage, Skyrim, etc etc etc etc…

Ugh, there goes $600+

(Anneliese Stone) #10

seems kinda like a ripoff, at least add just 4 total maps and then it might be 15$

(yuval152) #11

If it’s not free I won’t get it.

(SinDonor) #12

I doubt SD cares about that. Not a lot of profit in giving everything away for free.

(yuval152) #13

well I don’t have a job(teenager) so my dad said the every few months he’ll buy me game,I’d rather use it on a full game rather than DLCs.

(SinDonor) #14

You can’t convince your dad to give you some extra chores for $15? Ask your neighbors if they need any help with chores/yard work and hope they tip you a few bucks.

When I was a teenager, I had a part time job after school and during the weekends. The weekday job at my supermarket sucked and it was for like $4.15/hr, but it was money. The weekend job, I valet parked cars and made a lot more cash under the table, but it ruined my Fri and Sat nights since I worked till 2am every weekend!

I didn’t wanna wait for my parents to buy me stuff, I bought my own stuff.

Agree. I did same but that was 15-17 years ago and there were jobs for teenagers back then.

That is alotta games! For me, just BF3 and Skyrim will be enough to get me through 2012. Plus, I am still playing Fallout:NV and will also play some Brink. You don’t need so many games when the ones you play are good enough.

(BROTOX) #20

I would pay for more DLC but IDK about adding too many more abilities before the battlefield becomes too cluttered with junk.
