Anybody else have gradual FPS drop when playing?

Hello,
So lately after the Dickens update something weird is happening with my FPS. At the start of the game i get 170-200, then they gradually decrease more and more until around 40ish. I already tried thread sync, it doesnt do anything. I also noticed that Dirty Bomb has way more CPU usage, even on lowest settings its 80+ percent. This shouldnt happen with an Intel Core i5 4690K @ 3.50GHz. I even checked for overheat, nothing in my PC goes above 45 degrees. Something went wrong in the update, does anybody else experience this change?

Well, if you’ve verified for certain it’s not a heat issue then it sounds like you might be having that GPU memory leak issue. Do you have software that can tell how much of your GPU memory is in use/free? That might help you troubleshoot it. I do know there is or was a bug with some cards that had issues with Dirty Bomb.

Try validating your game files in steam?

i5-4670k owner here, and when I was testing streaming the other day I noticed Dirty Bomb can use up to around 90% in random spikes when in game. And that is before I even started streaming, so I can vouch for the high cpu usage, but don’t get much issue with low fps.

Also what Amerika said, you can use MSI Afterburner to check for CPU/GPU/Ram usage fps/frametime, temperatures and all sorts of other stats.

Just for clarification what GPU you have?

Could also try capping your fps in the ini files, game seems to run alot smoother with a permanent lock. If you don’t know how to do this check this guide.
