Any way to report crashes with a log ?

Hi all,

I would like to know if there’s a way to report DB crashes with a log of some kind. It happens that I have crashes of course but in the Windows journal I find no details, also there isn’t always a .mdmp crash file in DB folder.

For example :
1h and half ago, I was playing a mission to earn credits, only had that mission, the 2 other slots were empty.
I joined an objective round, did twice the points I have to do for the mission but the game crashed.
Couldn’t start it for like half an hour, when I finally managed to do so : mission points were gone, empty slots were not filled with new missions. I looked for a crash log and didn’t find, the Windows one about the DB crash is pretty useless.

Hey there!

Crash files are stored in My Documents > My Games > UnrealEngine3 > ShooterGame > Logs.

Launch logs detail everything you are attempting to do in the game and if the game crashes. These are very obviously helpful if you can provide them to our customer support team so they can investigate. :smile:

Totally, that’s what I was looking for to help the devs :slight_smile: Any chance you can show me where to post these directly so I can help the DB team ? I just looked on the DB support and found nowhere to upload/contact.

There should be a box that says “Add file or drops files here”
