Any way to remove a mercenary from the mission rotation?

I had nothing else to spend my 400,000 credits on, so I made a mistake and bought rhino. He was the last mercenary that I had left to unlock. His missions seem to pop up more than any other mercenary, so he ends up taking up one of the slots for a match.

Just the other day I ended up finishing a match with 184 kills and 4 deaths. I do not find him interesting, fun or satisfying to play as nor do I think players playing against him that do not have Fragger, Fletcher or Nader are enjoying being on the receiving end of his minigun. He also doesn’t seem to have any damage falloff at longer ranges.

Idk i dont think there is a option to do that…
You can remove the mission by clicking the X on the mission cycle

What Talak is asking:
Is there any way to prevent getting missions for a certain merc?

What you answered:
Waste your free mission in order to get another one.

I’d like to see a feature where the chance to get a mission (and the rewards of doing it) is determined by the ratio of your completions to your rejections of it. If you reject a mission more often you are less likely to get it. Likewise, doing a mission you don’t like should render higher rewards.

I’d love to remove Vassili. I got him with beginner’s pack and only missions force me to get this useless crap in squad.

I see where you’re getting at.
This would be great to farm credits reliably but I don’t think it would be positive for the game. People would stick to their usual mercs instead of trying new ones which is kind of the incentive behind the missions, getting you out of your comfort zone.

I’d propose the opposite of your suggestion, giving you the most missions with your least used mercs vice versa. This way you have to become familiar with ALL mercs to get a rounded set of missions

I like this idea.

Just in the last few days I’ve been given 12 Rhino missions…

This ^^. It’s part of the marketing in the game, the same as the free rotation. Both of these things result in additional sales for the company, which is a very good thing for all of us.

I wouldn’t mind having a little flexibility there, though. Since there are 17 mercs, instead of the typical 4-5 classes, they could let us select our 3 least favorites to leave out of the rotation. And they could also restrict the selection to those players who had played the chosen mercs at least 5 hours each, so we at least have a taste of everything.

The reward income for frequently rejected missions shouldn’t be larger than the reward income of consistently accepted missions within the same time period.

To put this statement in perspective, I would give an example:

10 missions were completed over the course of 4 days. The player gets around 15000 credits total for their efforts and not rejecting every mission they encounter.

Compared to another player who did 8 missions and rejected two of one type of mission, and accepting the third of the same type due to high promised rewards. That player lost 2000 potential income for rejecting the first two, while the third one is valued at 1500 credits. Instead of getting 15000 credits that player got 14500.

This would still make players have a reward for getting familiar with the mercs, while being able to “block” missions that would end up wasting your time, which can make the player be able to do more with their classes.
