Any way to earn credits fast?

(orchidGrouper) #1

Hello All,
I have being playing dirty bomb for well over 24 hours,
and I do understand that it is strongly a pay to win game, but is there any way to get credits
efficiently as it is very hard to get just a few credits.
I do all the missions and such.
Thanks,
OrchidGrouper

thank you for your troll / halfwit post. “well over” 24 hours game experience makes you a master and an expert and fountain of wisdom. But to address your “concerns”

  1. game is in no way “pay to win”

  2. buy a useless credit booster from the shop

  3. play from longer than 24 hours and earn credits u self entitled me me i want it all now twerp

thanks for posting and welcome to the forums. Now go home.

This game isn’t pay2win at all. It’s pay2get, but each thing in this game is quite balanced compared to other games.
Mainly the best way to earn credits is being medics and just healing and reviving your team.

Should have braced myself for the twat comments. The game is clearly pay 2 win as there is no realistic way of earning enough credits to buy the mercs and open loadout cases, forcing you to buy with money.

(kAndyREW) #5

er… but how do you win? i can roll face with default loadout skyhammer np.

As others have pointed out…the game is not pay to win. Pay to win would mean you pay to get a power advantage. There isn’t a way to get a power advantage in this games. The mercs are fairly well balanced within their designated classes so you can’t pay for a more powerful one. You also can’t pay for any kind of power boost in better weapons, augments, hp or anything like that…it doesn’t exist in this game and never will.

Also, loadout cards are essentially the same as unlocks you get in BF/CoD and other games where you have to play to get unlocks of what you want to get. There is a paid shortcut but the ease at which you can get these loadouts makes progress pretty fast. And you can get every loadout in Bronze. Silver, Gold and Cobalt are nothing more than the exact same loadouts as Bronze but with different skins for the guns and mercs…so cosmetic only.

As for earning credits fast the best way to do it is simply do missions as soon as possible and make sure you play at least one Stopwatch, one Objective and one Execution (when it’s up) a day as you get 500 credits per game completion. You will be swimming in credits once you unlock the few mercs you want.

‘‘and I do understand that it is strongly a pay to win game’’

You have got to be kidding me

You earn credits by

Playing the game (Each minute = 12 Credits)
Doing Missions (Resets each 3 hours)
Daily Missions (Win 1 game, 1 Stopwatch mode, 1 Objective, 1 Execution)

Or you could QQ all day and hope for credits to be put on your account but i doubt that’ll work,
But hey nice try ;’)

I want free shit, not like the game is free, nobody cares about that.

Credits are not hard to get, they are just not entirely easy either. I’ve gotten 50k credits in 1 and a half weeks tops, by just playing 2-3 hours a day. If it was any easier, everyone would be running around with all mercs unlocked

(SaulWolfden) #10

It took about that long for me as well to get 50k credits (which I’m currently sitting on) which seems reasonable to me.

Bronze cards can be bought at the store for a reasonable amount of credits and are literally the best cards in the game. Everything beyond Bronze are just reskins of the same cards. Still, everything below Bronze don’t suffer very much, only really missing very minor boosts (you can buy a card that lets your explosives spread 10% farther with the exact same gun, yay?).

It’s a bit of a grind but very reasonable. Cases are plentiful and give cards that can be easily traded up and the challenges are incredibly easy to finish and net high credit yields. Plus, if you PTFO and top frag then you’ll be netting 300+ credits a game.

Getting real sick of these kids slapping the title “p2w” on every game that requires any effort to earn things.

THE GAME IS FREE
SOME MERCS ARE FREE PERMANENTLY
OTHER MERCS ARE FREE TEMPORARILY
EVERY MERC IS FREE TO PLAY AT SOME TIME OR ANOTHER <- how can that be pay to win if no “op” champs are paywalled?

Don’t wanna spend a single cent for all this free sh!t and STILL wanna permanently unlock a merc? Grind the credits. Saying you’re “FORCED” to pay for mercs because your whiny 12 year old ADHD brain can’t handle working for something in your miserable life is beyond the overused term “entitled”. And you have no clue what pay to win actually means or involves.

(Backuplight) #13

“Top fragging” has nothing to do with your credit gain, just FYI.

Also, some people posting in this thread… I feel like you’re getting baited by the guy calling DB p2w. Anyone who actually still thinks that hasn’t played the game, or have a very skewed perception of what p2w really means.

How to earn credits? Here is a solution to your problem:

  1. Play the game
  2. Learn to aim
  3. ???
  4. Credits !!!

(kAndyREW) #15

i don’t think credits are that hard to get, as I don’t “farm” for them… I just casually try to fill out the missions, play each of the modes every morning…I feel like the credit gain is pretty decent.

also there’s something to be said about also just paying for the mercs you want with real cash. I understand everyone’s financial situation is a little different but personally i dont mind dropping a few bucks here and there to support the game. Especially since I get literally hundreds of hours of entertainment from it.

(Aazhyd) #16

OP is nuts? Credits are very easy to get. Playing for 2 months and I bought 6 mercs and numerous loadout cards, all for in-game credits.

Just do the missions and make sure you play each game mode at least once a day (gives you 500 credits).

[/quote]So kills don’t affect the credit gain? I always felt I earned more when doing well.

(RuleofBooKz) #18

You do earn more. You earn the best reward possible: a sense of satisfaction you get from playing the game well and helping out your team

You earn credits on a per minute basis, so longer games get you more credits. It could always be that you doing well is finishing some of your XP related missions faster, so in that sense, doing well can influence your credit gain. Still limited by the 3 hourly mission reset time though.

But yeah, no bonus to credit gain specifically for winning or scoring highly.
