Any updates on ranked?

Anyone have any updates on when ranked is coming back online?

I’m so tired of playing with randoms who “only play for fun” :persevere:

Nothing new on ranked so far.

If you wish a more competitive environment I highly recommend you Pick-Up-Games (PUGs) hosted by DBNation in the meantime. They are played in 5 vs 5 format with friendly fire on alongside with merc bans and no merc stacking (e.g two Sawbonez on one team).

It seems to me that this is event-based? Meaning I’ll have to actually plan out when and for how long I will be playing. Does not suit me at all :slight_smile:

Also it looks like you need a 5-man team setup in order to sign?

No, these are the tournaments.

Whenever someone starts a PUG on Discord (mostly in the evening) you will receive a notification.
You join the lobby and wait until ten players are available.
Then everyone joins the server in-game and the selected captains choose the players.

Don’t worry if it seems complicated, it’s actually quite easy.

@Sgt I just recently tried it out for the first time. It just takes some time until you have the first game going, but then it is quite smooth. Except the team captains are in a more chatty mood between games. There are also amateure pugs. I dont know how experienced you are. But if you dont have much experience with the competitive format. You should check them out first. Just join the discord channel and read the rules. Everybody is super friendly.

I was cobalt 2 / 3 last season so I’m what you might called experienced?

Definitely join a PuG community if you want to play ranked format only. This goes for literally every game with team-based multiplayer comp.
