Any theories on what Aimee's ability will be?

So with us all hyped for Aimee, let’s start talking about what her ability(s) might be. We know she’s recon and before had the third eye camera. However, the camera seems to be just a worse version of Vassili’s heartbeat sensor, at least if it remains how it was before open beta. Looking at what is in the game files currently, it seems like it would be quote awkward when deploying the camera. It seems to travel in a straight line despite being thrown.

But, if we look at that short comic thst was made (can’t link it while using the mobile version of this site even if I could find it) it seems like perhaps the third eye camera has become a self-levetating robot with its own R2-D2 like AI. Perhaps what she can now do is deploy this flying robot and use it to scout around an area. This would be significantly different from Vassili’s heartbeat sensor as it allows her to scan a large are and mark targets. Perhaps one of her augments will be also temporarily marking deployables, if my previously stated theory is true.

What are you’re guys thoughts?

I played the game files that were in the folder in offline mode she will start off with the pdp as her primary and she will have her 3rd eye and I wouldn’t be surprised if she can hack c4 to defuse them faster since she is a hacker for the event. Though I doubt it and she will just be a female vassili with only 80 hp. Though all this could change with her final release.

If this is the case, then vassili’s heartbeat sensor will pale in comparison to Aimee’s 3rd eye. This is probably impossible.
I do believe she still has to manually stick them to walls and probably get a small screen at the bottom of her screen to view.

@Mc1412013 I do like the idea of her being able to defuse as per normal via her camera and smart devices. SD has to make the camera sent out a warning to the enemy team that its defusing, otherwise in a huge map it would be hard to counter-play ( Free defuse if they can’t find and destroy the 3rd eye)

However, I agree that she’ll be a female counterpart to vassili and have squishy hp. I just hope she gets a better sniper due to her lower hp etc.

The camera actually has a small dropoff at distances.

Oh dude that would be dank. The camera apply a aim assist on the people it detects for you to shoot them

@jollyRacer Well they need to do something because for her to manually stick it to a wall, she would have to push up, something a sniper isn’t supposed to do.

My idea wouldn’t be that overpowered. THe thing is pretty big and will likely make a noise while flying, making it a pretty easy target. It would also have a limited batery life and the people it marks last about as long as Redeye’s IR goggles.

It originally worked like a sticky camera, but by the looks of the comic and leaked stuff it looks like it’s now a sort of UAV, my guess is that it’s now a Brink like UAV where you can get direct control of it, spotting enemies you see using the UAV and can suicide bomb enemies with it.

I don’t think it should be able to suicide bomb. Just it will fizzle like Vassili’s heart beat sensor when fnished or fly back to Aimee.

Aimee will have a phone I think, there’s probably a reason why they said the event items can be unlocked from HER phone, it might be used to move the third-eye kind of like we can move Kira’s laser.

Deployable with a cone area of detection like bushwackers turret?

Would be smaller and sticks to stuff and is persistent.

It’s not as effective as vasilli’s heartbeat sensor b/c not 360 noscope range but perhaps harder to spot and easier to set up?

I really hope she doesn’t have the PDP. She needs her own, unique sniper rifle.
