Any other Combat Medico's out there?

So, I can’t play online to see for myself (GODDAMN YOU SATELLITE), so I figured I’d go to the forums. Everyone seems to be complaining about the Medics that don’t revive, or they buff senselessly. I’m here to ask, anyone that plays as an in-combat Medic? I mean, shooting and killing, going after the enemy, but when someone needs a revive or buff, you’re there. I’ve been playing like this since I got it 2 days ago. My Medic character is now a level 8 after a few hours, and I’m trying to build him as a Medic, but with battle capabilities. Was just wondering, see ya’ forum.

Yes. but i prefer to just give up on the frontlines and heal soemone 50 meters away. I am ALWAYS healing.

Yeah im doing same thing dude, like gettin stuck in but I also swap to what the main objectives need, as only been playing with friends or bots but id probly stick to Medic when the 360 version stops laggin so much

There’s not really such thing as a combat medic in Brink. Medics can take down stuff as well as other classes (mostly), it’s not like TF2 where they’re extremely lacking in offensive capability.

No offense intended Fox, but I beg to differ. From what my buddies have told me, a lot of Medics in their games don’t do much healing, and others needlessly buff and metabolize their teams. A combat medic had a balance of both. Comparing myself to some videos I’ve seen, I can gladly say I do much more than many engineers and operatives I’ve seen play. Gameplay videos aside, however, I don’t know much of the online experience. so, that given, correct me if I’m wrong.

There’s no such thing as needlessly metabolize. And medics supply meter runs down so fast, medics have to be at least semi-aggressive so they can re-spawn and get more supply in case you get pushed.

I think people understate the difficulty of the medic’s job people moan they dont do anything but when the people moaning get shot down there the first to moan they need a medic and dont give any form of thanks like re ammo the medic or buff his gun etc.

Or when your playing online they dont even bother to say thanks if its an actual person
