I have a cynical conspiracy theory that goes: Brink will appear on steam, coincidentally, on the day the patch is released that fixes the majority of PC issues (mostly ATI bugs) and will also likely coincide with a free steam weekend.
Aside from speculation, I’ve not read anything official.
