Any news on the new Matchmaking?

Im getting really sick of all those unbalanced matches lately (maybe you saw my thread about auto balance a while ago)
This time im not talking about matches where unbalance develops later in the match, when other people join, its about unbalanced games that get matched in the lobby (like 3 lvl >20 against a team of <10) or the first 3 minutes where new joiners get matched to the stronger team although the teams had equal numbers before (i know that this system is very basic, but i think the new matchmaking should include a better version of this aswell)

i can honestly say, its getting out of hand now

3 out of 5 games i play get matched unbalanced even before the match itself started
was it seriously that broken before or am i just unlucky?

Any news when new matchmaking will arrive?(this month, next one or next year?)
I just hope the new system wont f**** it up even more

Honestly I’d wish they’d hide levels so people wouldn’t see a level imbalance and think that therefore there must be a skill imbalance. I’ve had low levels destroy me. People should actually play for a couple of minutes before saying a game is unbalanced. That said, there are a lot of unbalanced games. The new system should come within probably 3 months or so (that’s just my guess, there’s not been a release date set).

I would not mind it if they hid levels from other players that’s a good Idea @RyePanda.
a lot of low level players see those high level players and grow green with biased envy as they try and spam that team shuffle button.

Are high level players always going to garuntee a win? no not always but there is some correlation with account level and experience/skill.

take that number away people have nothing to use as an escape-goat as to why they are losing. I’ve even found myself using the excuse that “the enemy team Is stacked with high levels”, but I also masochistically enjoy fighting teams/players like that. I enjoy watching high level players like its the discovery channel, I want to emulate their playstyle and strats.

My friend Kevin bitches and whines constantly about imbalance even when there’s a single high level player in the server and everyone else is low level. There’s not enough 1337 to go around, haha.
I think it would be good if the teams were balanced by making the averages of all the levels for both teams as similar as possible, that way you couldn’t get teams with three or four guys over forty. It should automatically balance upon the death of the player being switched, as well, because there are so many itinerant players that give up in the middle of a match and screw over everyone else… and that gap never gets filled voluntarily.

would be nice but we would need a general mute to fend off all those thinking you are cheating

a story that happened this week (too)
i played against a team with high lvl players this week (4 over lvl 35), it was unbalanced as hell again (who would have thought?)
i was top scoring with proxy (again the highest lvl in my team [lvl24]) and a lvl 38 stoker accused me of cheating(how nice, im not playing that good every day)
i told him it was nice to think im cheating but he is just raging
he just called me an idiot and said he had a video but didnt say how i was cheating
even his high lvl mates told him to shut up

would you like this kind of behaviour every match?
i would rather see the (secret) elo rating displayed right next to the lvl but i dont think this will happen

this was a close one, the vasilli was very strong and the rhino was really painful
it started this unbalanced, only the 2 bottom scorers on each team joined later

the second picture started with me and 3 others on my team and the 2 top scorers and 2 others on the enemy team
it was hard but my team was able to complete the second stage
