any md3 modelling people knows what causes this?

the model is fine before exporting but ingame it looks like this:

btw - why don t you add a tag? + a func rotate ?

Just to have an easy model… But I really think the problem lies in the big_rotor part.
I just don’t now why… I even had the model into npherno’s md3 compiler and tried the rebuild normals without luck.

And you really shouldnt need a " skeleton" since the bones turn into “tags” when I change the animation over to frame animations,
I don’t feel for it but I think I have to make another rotor and try again…
But I really would like to know why this is happening…

yep ischbinz, I was correct… It has something to do with the mesh in rotor_big…
I deleted it and made a new more simple one and…what do you know…it works…

but if you bother to find out whats wrong with the mesh I wil be very grateful, because as you see this one is far more simple than the other one…
