Yeah I know its an old topic and theres alot of people (trolls are people too) that are going to reply with hate to this. Ive heard the argument that to have two genders would make each have half the customisation, but I think that is tripe, its just lazy not to include female skins. They took the time to add alot of customisation to the original game which is great, was hoping that DLC would rectify the gender imbalance on this island but that is looking doubtfull. So Splash damage what are the chances of later DLC fixing the lack of gender customisation “bug” (as in it bugs me its not an option).
Any chance of nDLC adding female skins, or is BRINK only ever going to be monosexual?
What you ‘think’ doesn’t change facts. I doubt we’re going to see any more investment in Brink from SD, and if we were, I doubt it would be something as superficial as skins. I also think they saw that having them can only be a positive thing, so will probably get more serious consideration if their next game has a place for them.
(oh noes I didn’t agree, am I a hat0r?)
Nah you arent a hater, its called having an opinion, trolls are foul smelly creatures who spout profanity in place of intelligence and couldnt take part in a constructive conversation if they tried. Im assuming your arent foul or smelly? <smirk>
Who is gonna buy the DLC?
Out of the 100 active players across all 3 platforms, maybe half of them? Charging €5,- for it means SD have a massive €250,- budget to create skins and distribute them. You’re not going to get 1 new baseball cap at that price.
euuuh now i have the image of a heavy bodied female charachter in my head
and nah lets face it, we wont see more new in this game
It would be nice if there was one Splash Damage guy who played the game, and occasionally made some netvar updates just for fun. They added those bodytype netvars, but never used them.
I find the idea of female skins over the original male characters to actually disturbing…
