Others shouldn’t be affected by an IP ban unless they’re like, on the same block as the spammer, right? I don’t know much about it, but that’s what I understand.

I am so sorry about this everyone in the forums.

I couldn’t visit the forums for few month due to military service and spec ops missions I had with U.S. Army, and I’m not really sure but guessing one of the hacked ID in KR DB community knew about forum link from the post I wrote half years ago about ‘You gotta leave your suggestion for DB in english in this forum’.

I was really shocked right after one KR DB player told me about this, and I am really sorry about this crap going on, as a same South Korean. If I’m responsible about this, you guys can always ban my country’s IP with me, as there are less than 10 people using this forum with proper english.

There are Steam forums too, so don’t worry about the banning. Again, I leave great apologies here.

Goddammit, ThunderPro, not you too. You’re not part of this or a government official. Your apologies have limited effect, and I seriously doubt this is due to your forum post from half a year ago you speak of, and if it is, so what? You’re not wrong to say this forum speaks exclusively in English, we are forgiving to people who are weaker in that department. Now shake that conc off and hit the flag button on those spam posts, 5/6 flags does the job.

I cleaned it and PM’d Raz to turn off new registrations. It seems like we need to contact Vanilla to get the registration process (CAPTCHA) changed.

Personally I think the accounts were hand-made, and they just spam at it after they made enough accounts. Hell, I think the forums are hand made, too, just a lot of cop and paste.
Could also make a restriction that says no one can make more than 1 thread per day, because who makes that many threads in a day?

Since they use proxies, they can use another person’s IP address instead of their own, and if the mods ban that IP, not only will the spam not stop, but you may have just banned a potentially innocent person from the forums.

@darlingClaymore @N8o I was deployed at Feb 29th as ROKA Special Warfare Command 221th Regiment cadet. It would be easier to think about U.S. Navy SEAL or Delta Force for you.

I was supposed to be trained for approximately 5 months and promote to sergeant at July, but I was injured really bad while HALO training progressed with U.S. Army and its special force members who stationed in South Korea post. Almost fell to death, totally failed my mission, but here I am with broken body parts.

Edit: @Incoming unfortunately I wasn’t marine. But yes, I’ve done bunch of training ops along with some U.S. Army’s 2nd Infantry Division guys and other special forces, since ROK-SWTG is the only place able to do HALO in KR.
