Anti-Cheat NGS. Could I get banned from if I use Corsair CUE mouse software?

greetings to all!!
I been reading the forum and note this conversation about being banned by the anticheat NGS when use macros softwares. now my question … I certainly do not use macros, I dont know what they are and I dont needed. But my problem/question is I use a Corsair M65 RGB gaming mouse that came with a software from Corsair called CUE that controls the RGB lights from my mouse but also is capable of use macros I going to get banned from the AC?

As I say, I dont use macros, but realy like the RGB lights from my mouse, the problem is if I desable the CUE the lights stop working in my mouse

OEM softwares should be white listed by NGS, but that’s just my opinion.

You can even make macros in Unreal Engine…

Nope. My mouse has built in macro. And the program is always running. And i need it running because, i need the program for the breathing lights (different color for different dpi settings ) and sniper mode.

Nope! The types of macros that will get you banned are the “auto clicker” types or “auto scroller” (for the mouse wheel), and pretty much anything along those lines… Basically, anything that gives you an advantage by carrying out a task in-game for you, that the opponent has to do themselves. :slight_smile:

I apologise if there was an error in communication in the recent discussions on the macro issues, but it only applies to macros that effect in-game performance. ^.^

EDIT: Removed my guess about auto-scroller. It was just an educated guess, but I don’t want to mistakenly claim something as the truth. Sorry folks!

Why does auto scrolling ban you? With my logitech g500 I can just unlock the middle mouse scroll and let it scroll for ages without any effort.

as already mentioned, the OEM software should not be banned as long as it is not misused :smile:
