another quick and easy one..

(OSIAS) #1

recently converted map over and met another small bumb in the road…

aight i had some rtcw models in the map converted that are no longer supported by ET… so i already know not to transfer then its against the eulla or whatever…

so since the models didn’t transfer nothing shows up the the ET map editor except a small red box which i for some reason can not select…
so i cant delete them …

question is their a way i can select just the models that aren’t displaying properly and delete them only. without deleting all the models… cause some did transfer…

or basiclly do i just have to filter the world out besides models hit I i think to select everything left (models) and hit delete and start completly over with model placement…

You could always just load the map file up in notepad and manually delete the entity (or whatever editor you use).

I had the same problem when I loaded up my map.
Rtcw models obviously didn’t show up in the map just
an unselectable box…

I solved it by drawing a brush around the box and hit
the ‘select inside’ button/icon (next to ‘csg subtract’) ,
then hit delete and it should be gone

Or u could open up an old version of radiant, load the map and delete the models there

Will it not let you select them through the entity list then? (Edit -> Entity Info, or the ‘L’ key)
