Another April Date? What's going on?

There was already the issue with xbox.com where they said Brink was one of those “game-night” things they do on the 16th of April.
Here it says the game releases on April 12th, I thought it was May 17th? >_<

Also, if you weren’t sure why didn’t you check other sites first?

Before May 17 was confirmed, I think they had it as April 12 and forgot to change it. I’m pretty sure that Gamespot also had that date. But I am sure of one thing: this April 12 date is old.

The question is… why even care about other dates that aren’t official? Unless you hear a date change from the ones that matter, ignore it.

April 12th is when the Special Edition of Brink is released.

Just to doubly make sure, it’s still May 17 (US), May 20 (Europe/Australia), and May 26 (Japan).
