Animation sounds

Hello. I am having some trouble with animation sounds. i have it so when you take out the knife, you hear a sound. but the problem is that you can hear the sound throughout the whole map and it plays 2 at the same time.

in vo_allies.sounds i have this

//saber on
saber_on
{
	sound sound/weapons/saber/saberon.wav
	sound sound/weapons/saber/saberon2.wav
	sound sound/weapons/saber/saberon3.wav
}


and in the animation file human_base.script i have this


raiseweapon
{
	weapons knife
	{
		torso raise_knife sound saber_on
	}
}

how would i get it to only play one sound and make the sound come from the person and not play it to everyone the same volume. its kinda like the commander is talking but i dont want that. can someone please help?

this isnt used in ET , so it may be buggy…
It can be fixed only by editing sources ( but then you can do it in other way too… )

uhm , in sources , you can do something else than fixing animations sounds…
BTW by changing animation file you will break compatibility…
