Angle snapping with sniper rifle zoom only

seems to be an odd angle snapping bug only when I zoom with sniper rifle, does not occur with other weapons

mouse is deathadder 2013 with updated drivers etc

in the video i’m dragging the mouse slightly diagonally, in-game it stays moving perfectly along the x axis unless i move it past a certain threshold
