It’s pretty awesome you used the wrong ‘than’. But seriously, if you’re using Malwarebytes or any other program that might block them(if you’re on PC), turn them off. My malwarebytes blocked it calling it a “malicious program”, and as soon as I turned it off it worked again.

Yeah i’m not using any programs that are causing it, nothing has changed, it just started rubber banding.

I use an ATI card, which is probably the problem, fix one ruin another… I wasn’t having rubber banding before

An ATI card has nothing to do with it, unless you haven’t updated your drivers for your computer as well as your ATI card. I have an ATI card, and it isn’t malfunctioning. Also, rubber banding is definitely NOT with the card, as rubberbanding has to do with your latency skyrocketing. It is from your ISP or from connecting, as I had said before, to a server that is not located near you.

its from the fact that all of the processing is done server side, meaning if one person lags it lags everyone…

Just to clarify, lag is caused by latency and the amount of hops to the server… could be poor routing, a duff hop or something on your PC, or something else. Someone on a 1mb connection could have a better ping than someone on a 100mb connection. A scan to server is a single snapshot, to check if it’s your connection, grab the IP and run a constant ping from dos (e.g. ping -t 123.221.12.222), this will give a slightly better indication especially since you won’t be running it via the game.

yep i have to agree with this brink server browser suxs, you join a server with 14/16 sometimes 12/16 says full, then timeout a lot, I spend like 5 minutes to find a server with less then <100 latency that Im able to join
