tldr: i’m out of ammo since the patch
People are rarely gave out ammo before or after the patch, even if i’m explicitly asking for it. You didn’t do any change to encourage them to do so, just simply removed like half? of the ammo crates. First time in the game history i have to /kill, so i’m not running around totally empty.
Instead of removing them, i would like to see same rearranging. But i guess we have to wait few months for that.
Most of them were relocated, not removed entirely. I think it was a smart move, making support mercs step up and fill their role smarter.
Well, the problem on pubs is that they often don’t give ammo because either they don’t know how or just don’t care. I find myself running around hitting them in the head with a bat to get their attention until they start to give it up. Maybe give that a try, as it seems to work most of the time 
Because the thinking behind this change is making defense harder, I don’t mind it at the moment. Pistol and melee are also quite effective in most public games.

I’m not against the ammo crate change BUT it is well annoying now (until I adapt to it) 
I might have to start using microphone in game.
