Ammo bunker 2 on the horizon

Hi all.

I have been working on a “new” map which I’m calling Ammo bunker 2. This is a merge of Ammo Bunker made by Seven_dc and Kadesh made by Joop Sloop. This has been a lot of work and learning period for a noob like me. But finally the map is ready for game play test after too long time. I had planed to release the beast last sept but well well.

What did you use value in worldspawn for _minlight or ambient?
I think it’s nearby 15~20… isn’t it?

Well to be honest these are old screen shots but the ambient was 17. I have lowered the ambient and I believe I set it to 10. Then I have added sun glare. I wanted to create a evening atmosphere. I do not have all info in front of me but I think that ambient was lower in ammo bunker but then there are about 6 to 8 sunlight’s/moonlights to balance the light in that map. I had taken some screen shots with out hud of the new version but for some reason the screen shots are always darker than the game so I decided not to add them to the web page.

I did some google for pictures in Tunisia and tried to reflect that in window framework, out doors and those small things on top of some of the buildings ( do not know what it is called in English ).

I’m basically running out of time with this map but fortunately there are very few things to fix. Before I do that I would like to run a game play test which I will do to morrow at 21:00 (CET). I really do not have time to work more on this map, so I will release it. There are some things that would like to do but I do not have more time.
