Ammo and health ability

I’ve been gone from the game for a year, I come back and completely forgot about this, but when it happened I got furious that nothing has been done to fix it yet.

Why is one on E and the other on Q?!

If I could rebind for each class it wouldn’t bother me, but as it is now it’s pretty fucked up. I never got completely used to it back when I played this game daily, and after returning I press the wrong button 50% of the time.

I have it bound to my mouse, but how does that solve my problem? health is on mouse 4 and ammo is on mouse 5, I need them both to be on mouse 4.

Create a macro.

Using what? AutoHotKey? Won’t that get me banned? And even so, I have to remember to trigger the macro every time I change class. I mean it’s better than nothing, but still, not good enough if you ask me. This should just be standard in the game.

I have to agree with op, all support abilities should be on the same key, and all other abilities should be on the secondary key for consistency.

I could do that with Steelseries engine 3, it has this macro mapping built in. As far as I have understood, only making automatic firing pistol macros are off limits. AutoHotKey has also some other functions that interact with graphics.

My key binds are this way and i don’t encounter this problem : defibs for medics and ammo pack/station for fire support are all on the same key.
