amd_catalyst_11.5b broken?

Is the new hotfix broken for anybody or just me?

Im missing almost all textures, scrambled text (much more frequent than before) and crash to desktop after about 1 min in game.

11.5b is a mess.

****s up my whole windows.So slow it’s ridiculous.

Ninja’d:With the 11.5b “Hotfix” also the game crashes everytime the map changes.

Seems this hotfix also shows different symptoms on different PC’s.Didn’t had missing textures.

Ok, it seems i had a faulty install, now i have textures and i had no crash in the last five minutes

well, maybe a very silly and stupid question, but it´s not too easy keeping track of the latest imrovements.

… yes, you’re right … you should use the v11.5 CAP-1 for the moment … we will see what friday brings up with the v11.5 Cap-3 … I have slightly improved FPS, no prob’s with the textures and no crash so far …

hmmm… 11.5b feels like a step back for me.

Tried the RC5s today and they were were just as bad as the other 11.5s for me. Sound skips and the steam overlay reduces the game to 20fps. I don’t get this skipping on anything but all the 11.5s

11.5s increased my max fps but the lows are just unplayable. Back on 10.x series it’s not so bad.

Saying this I’m on a low end 5770 so don’t write off the performance increase for newer cards if you have one, it’s worth a go. If previous 11.5s didn’t do you any favours then I wouldn’t get too excited

11.5b with Vista modified packages working fine for me with some fps boost, I only uninstalled the display driver before I installed the new one because I’m lazy. I’m happy it worked though.

Oh, and I have a 5830.

In terms of fps performance, its now playable which is good, without being decent on a 4870x2.
In terms of stability, it will bluescreen on every map change.

I installed the latest driver 11.5b and have a slightly higher fps (+20) or so.
