hm, thinking. thinking some more… yay. thats the first pc footage that i see. and it looks a bit different than what ive seen so far on xbox and/or ps3.

looks even more awsome. who said the game’s too slow? hm, i dont see that. you can see the potential brink has.

friday, plz come.

thanks for posting btw.

Thanks, tokamak. This should hold me over for the next hour or so. And it is so refreshing to see someone playing Medic and actually being team-friendly.

I’ve been watching this too. After reading some strange reviews so far, watching this put most of my fears to rest.

(tokamak) #5

This guy is redeeming the game from all the bad reviews.

(boozee84) #6

damn, i need a new laptop. mine’s not even able to run the vid smooth if i lower the quality!lol

(Ragoo) #7

Nice stream  Almost as fun as watching JP (the SC2 commentator) play earlier today

(Om3ga) #8

 Fun guy!

(kilL_888) #9

you bet. watching the stream now for about 2 hours and cant stop watching it.

you know whats funny? i barely see him using the ironsight. seems most of the time its just unnecessary.

also, the guys absolutely right. he doesnt understand why there are bad reviews. i mean, just look at the stream.

there are some minor bugs, like in one map theres a sound glitch and some weapons seem a bit overpowered, but nothing that could not be resolved by a patch.

watch the stream, tell it to your friends. if this doesnt convince you, stick to cod, bfbc2 or whatever. this is brink. this is the deal.

btw. this guy’s playing for 8-10 hours straight now.

live gameplay makes Brink shine like the shiniest star in the universe!

Light weapons are like that.

(bongtoker) #12

Damn dude, no offense but your laptop must suck. I am watching the vid just fine on my android cell phone.

(system) #13

So, the top level is 20? That guy is already at 16…

(HaberC) #14

Thanks bro! So stoked!

(tokamak) #15

So if anyone asked me how I spent my day…

Anyway, glad that everyone likes it. He’s going to play to level 20 and sometimes his views hit the 1k. He also constantly keeps telling everyone to get the damn game and not listen to the reviews.

(trigg3r) #16

thx a lot for the link toka, just watching it for half an hour took away any worries i could have about the gameplay.

(Senyin) #17

Looks good, looks fun. I want it!!
I was wondering if you can draw the mini-map in the upper right corner?

(Wepohn) #18

Nooo :frowning: what now?

(Ginastic) #19

he went to sleep :frowning:

the stream is over for a couple of hours. i watched in and out to procrastinate.

compared even to etqw the movement seems somewhat slower, but the parkour tricks and the tight maps compensate for that, it looks like it takes less than 15 seconds to get into the action which is very nice (as some of you might recall, without the sprint upgrade it took round 30 seconds on salvage to get from spawn to the objective during the last phase).

I am somewhat concerned with the spray&pray with the rate of fire the weapons have, but it still looks like good headshots take people down really fast.

All in all looks like SD went back to the RTCW/W:ET roots with the gameplay, but the teamplay emphasis is even stronger.

One thing im somewhat concerned about is xp whoring: the streamer at one point decided not to shoot anyone and just revive some noobs over and over, racking up xp like crazy; but not really contributing to the victory

However i hope that once people get their lvl20 they wont bother to do that as much.
