Alternate Fire for Throwables

Will we ever see an alternate throw for sticky bombs, heartbeat sensors, grenades, and airstrike markers? A weaker underhand toss would be nice to have as an option. Not to suggest borrowing too heavily from CS but the system they have for right, left, and left + right click simultaneously works well.

I can’t think of a time when this would actually be viable? The sticky bombs would never need a weaker toss. Parabolic motion isn’t that much of a hindrance.

It’s kind of hard to land airstrikes on higher up places that aren’t too distant, would be a good feature.

Options are always nice. I think it would be most useful when tossing over a wall or ledge that is right next to you. Also, dropping a heartbeat sensor at your feet to spot around a corner or through a nearby wall.

It’s funny cos everyone throws underhand at the moment right now anyway.

It’d be cool, but it isn’t exactly so necessary.

good luck with that trajectory indoors

How about a build up of throw power by keeping the button pressed. Kinda like BF2 had where you would hold the grenade button and it would build up, and you just released at the right moment. Back then it made for pinpoint precise throws, landing it directly next to a sniper on top of a building. Also great for shorter throws where you don’t need full power.

Maybe throwing trowables behind while running with low hp…

F.e. You are Vassili with and running away, just throw HBS behind, and youll know if they are following you, Same for Fletcher (but maybe would be too OP)

Wouldn’t really work with fragger’s nades at least

Change the parabolic path? Where this is physics, there is a way.

Which, as the OP suggests, should be done with right mouse. Maybe a faster, shallower arc with less range, useful for indoors boom.

I think you misunderstood me.

Throw it at a higher degree. An object with vertical velocity will keep moving until it hits the ground. Throw it at a larger arc.
