I have two questions, is it possible to clip an alpha texture (by that I mean being able to shoot through a fence but also having the posts being solid. Secondly can you reverse the backside of a face when you use cull disable (for example you have a sign and want the words in the correct direction on each side.)

you can add a clipmissle surfaceparm to your alpha shader

but that will clip the whole face, I wanted to leave the holes in my alpha channel unclipped. I will probably just end up clipping it by hand. I figured a good way though to not have a mirror image of the other side of a cull disable though, just use two patches instead.

Yeah, I think I did suggest an alpha channel to include clipping once, but I think the problem was that the map would need to have all the separate blocks of clip compiled into it differently aswell. Sorry :frowning: Just make it nonsolid and put the clips in separately maybe :S
