Top left corner click that big fat DirtyBomb logo. On the mainpage left side, first icon “meet the Mercs” choose the one you want. I guess phoenix will be avaible when he is out.

It’s maybe not the place to ask for it, but we also need a merc role call for the starter mercs too. Proxy, Sawbonez, Fragger… All the mercs available since the beggining of the steam closed beta have still no merc role call as far as I know.

This makes me even more excited for him, I was expecting his ability to be quite different in activation and it had me rather concerned, but now I see how much work has been put into him! Very well done to all developers who worked on Phoenix!

@MissMurder Why is the self-revive 20min long, wasn’t it 2m in closed beta ?

I really, really hope it’s a HUD bug, otherwise he’s going to have the weakest ability that you can use once in the blue moon

Where did you see 20 min?!? In the segment where they talk about it, it clearly shows 1 min on the cooldown after it’s been activated. Also, in other bits you can see the cooldown circle and time remaining are always consistent with a 1 min cooldown (i.e. showing 30 sec when the circle is half red).

You want lore? Phoenix and Rhino walked into a bar…there were no survivors. Aura once dated Phoenix and dumped him, but he kept coming back to her. Stoker and Phoenix went to school together, they were both suspended after setting fire to it.

•Phoenix has robotic leg, because he used to have a tattoo, which he no longer wanted. In an effort to remove it himself, he set his robot nanites on it – but his plan back-fired when they ate his entire leg below the knee. Turtle (an engineer) constructed him a new leg, much like his own arm.

Just a quick question, where will I be able to find the backstory for Phoenix? I really want to see Phoenix’s lore, but the devs don’t seem like they’re adding character bios back in anytime soon.
