I’ve always wanted to do a map in Greece/maybe the storyline with Greeks. Being the country that lost the highest percentage of lives in WWII I think it’s justifiable to make a map with them, them being me as I’m one of them :). I’ve been them so I have a running knowledge of the place. I realise that Drakir made Navarone but that operation had nothing to do with Greeks. Maybe one in either Crete or the mainland of Greece, Greeks defending the Acropolis from the German advance maybe?

Neotic, that church looks kind of Byzantian and I’ve always wanted to incorporate a Byzantine style church in a map. We also live in the same state! lol

ya but I’ve been to Greece and that Greece map doesn’t look much like it. It’s mountains, grass, trees and ample topless beaches. That map looks like it’s from southern turkey or somethin like that, or egypt. Not bad at all Neotic, is that supposed to be in any specific place? Those outdoor pics are really cool!

The way I am doing my project, I compile a decently workin version, and have my community members test it. On the weekends (spare time) I rework the bugs they may find and tweak other areas while consistently updating and progressing on the project. Although I could post screenshots, everyone is invited to check the map out and walkthrough it.

Go here to get the map test server ip, password and latest version of the map.

Let me know your feedback in our forums, would appreciate it.

okey, this is going to be my first map.

its going to take place at the alps, the axsis have a small fort of somekind.
the allies have to take over the little “mountain train” station at the lower
level and then destroy the safe doors at the fort and steal the gold.

now the allies have three ways how to get to the fort.

  • there is a little sewer witch leads to the fort
  • by the so called “mountain train”
  • near the fort, there are stairs made of stone leading to the fort

i shall scan the map of it later

well, i hope its going to work.

I am making a map with Ifurita and Mr Meand Mustard

Name: No name at the time. Goes under projectname: forest.
Type: Winter, snow

Objectives:

  • Allies steal a truck from axis farmhouse
  • Allies escort truck over the bridge into the town
  • Allies steal explosives from axis town and takes it to the truck.
  • Allies escorts the truck into axis gate that explodes
    Note objectives may change. They aren’t final

I really like the second shot with the ice and the pieces of ice floating around.

Perhaps you could make some of the smaller pieces shootable or have them move slowly around.
