Akimbo weapons?

I think will be a good idea to add akimbo weapons for mercs(like m9 and lite revolver ,not like deagle or .40 cal revolver)and I wanna see a usi smg in the game(I like uzi:) )

How about a merc using a machine pistol as a primary and a regular pistol as a secondary ? And his skill is basically to give you an akimbo of that machine pistol or regular pistol ?

But why not? There aren’t going to be any balance issues as they can modify the dual pistol DPS to be equal to the DPS of a single SMG. What exactly is it that you don’t like?

Eh, I don’t actually have an argument for why they shouldn’t be in. I just find it incredibly tacky.

It would be cool, but no. Because in this game, the recoil is just none. Most people don’t even ADS when shooting. Usually in other FPS games, akimbo weapons as secondary has accuracy as disadvantage.

DPS is also never a really true information about a weapon.
Sure, high DPS is a sign of a “good” weapon and you may be able to take down enemies quickly.
But Shotguns and Sniperrifles may have a low DPS, but they have the potential to kill in 1 shot.

So if the akimbo-pistols would have a decent DPS, they still could have good damage and low RoF, or high RoF and lower damage.
However, with the current accuracy of all weapons, either way might turn out to be somewhat unbalanced, I think.
Good accuracy, medium-high damage, lower RoF and akimbo.
This would have the potential to out-damage the .357-revolver, which is not OK.
