Aimee's Snitch

Did I miss something or does it now do damage to nearby ennemies? I couldn’t find this info anywhere. I started playing Aimee today (I know I’m late  ) and I keep getting assists as soon as an enemy is killed while debuffed even if I didn’t shoot him at all.

And it’s not some Spotter assist +70 like with Vassili, these are real assists like when you shoot someone, also the assist XP is not always the same, usually around 20 XP. Or maybe does the game give you assists for the HP that was “removed” because of the Snitch, but I thought it might be something else since the red assists are always when damaging someone, and that would be weird to get them without really damaging the enemy.

So yeah, just wondering if the Snitch was changed or not. Because when Aimee came out it was never mentionned it would directly damage the enemies.

It does, the damage is really minor, like 1 damage when it “tags” an enemy, if you get killed by it (which I have once) it’ll be depicted as a white eye icon in the obituary, similar to the one that appears when killed by someone using the skullsplitter trinket.

Alright thanks I thought you could only do this 1 damage by hitting directly the enemies with the Snitch, but then if it only does 1 damage why do I get ~20 XP assists? Just wondering

I really can’t say as it’s really minor, but if the enemy is low enough health wise, the snitch device will kill them for you, the kill will count for Aimee and anything like assists apply to the person that hurt the enemy more, etc.

You get assists for spotting, the same as Vas does. I’m pretty certain you get combat assist as well, even though it only does 1hp damage. But like @Redcap said any way, if you have 1hp and you’re spotted, you’ll be killed by the snitch.

Not sure if exactly 1 but it is severely low, I had to do a double take and look at the icon for a moment to realize what just happened.
