Right now? There is no reason to play aimee over vaseline. The sniper nerfs hit her way more than they hit him because she lost the one thing she had on vassili. 1hko bodyshots. Vaseline was already better before. More hp, better main sniper rifle and great loadouts with mp’s.

Aimee’s ability makes her PDP able to 1 shot most mercs. If you like the PDP that can be a reason to pick aimee. Also, she has faster movement and is harder to hit and synergizes well with the fast movement while scoped augment. Faster strafing can help you win sniping duels. Also, her ability helps her team do damage.

If you’re playing games where you are able to keep your snitch up on lots of people aimee can be pretty good. That won’t happen often though, which makes Aimee struggle.

Aimee also cannot access the MOA-1 sniper, which is probably the best sniper rifle in the game. If you’re looking for raw power Vasilli is much stronger (better weapon, more consistent ability, more health). PDP + snitch is probably the only remaining real argument to play Aimee if you are trying to min-max.

But jokes aside now.

Aimee has a faster movement speed so you can peek faster, it’s easier to escape and it’s easier to flank and surprise the enemy.

Her SNITCH is great if placed in good spots. You can insta-gib squishies, and it makes every other merc feel like a slow squishy to your teammates.

She is also the better choice if you are in a 1v1 sniper fight because of the smaller hitbox and faster speed.

And she is also a female so if you feel more comfortable playing as a girl character that helps too. No? Am I the only one? Oh well

Vassili is slower but he has more health and better weapons.
The MoA is superior to the FEL-IX and machine pistols are the best secondaries in the game.

Thanks to the better weapons and extra health, Vassili can still be efficient at close range.

Vassili’s sensor gives your team wallhack and it’s pretty spammy and hard to spot. You can throw it in spots where the enemy will never find it. Unlike Aimee’s SNITCH which requires line of sight and is pretty easy to destroy if nobody is shooting at you.

You also don’t need to think a lot before throwing it, you can even just press Q every 20 seconds and it will still be effective, Aimee’s SNITCH needs to be placed in a tactical spot to be useful

I totally forgot about PDP even though that’s the only way i play her now. Yes. PDP Aimee is still scary.
