Aimee vs. Redeye (Grandeur Specific)

Any thoughts on who is better? I already have Aimee with a Grandeur load out, and I enjoy the grandeur a lot. Aimee’s speed compliments the gun a lot and makes her a glass canon. However being a glass canon, she is not super viable to go all out attack. As a player who barely had a chance to play Redeye, is he worth it? Can his health pool be a better asset than Aimees faster movement speed?

Overall redeye brings a lot more to the table imo. His smoke and spotting mechanic is really strong when paired with a semi-auto sniper and is also useful to your team. His good health pool is also really good (i prefer it over aimees speed).

Both are good. Smoke can be used to annoy and screw up enemy in many ways not just standing and shooting. For example, covering Engi and also the advance of the EV; you don’t know where it is without wasting time moving.

aye, redeye is a lot better with grandeur. Aimee is too squishy to run into the fire, she is better off sniping with PDP or felix.

Smoke and spotting are also a lot stronger than the snitch, redeye can single-handedly lock down an entire choke

Red Eye is better because of the 120 hp and IR goggles, he can be a lot more aggressive. He’s actually the reason I kept messing up with it on Aimee, I’m used to having 30 hp more. IR goggles make it easier to spot enemies.

both are equally good, if you want more cqc capability then definately choose red-eye, if you want more pure sniper elements, choose aimee. the grandeur is better on red-eye, because the gun was basically designed for red-eye, it is a more close-range sniper weapon, which doesnt necessarily compliment aimee’s low health.

Red eye is more versatile merc to begin with. He is 120 hp merc, but he is far harder to kill because of smoke. He also can cover team mates with it or throw at random places and confuse enemy.

Grandeur specificly suits best for Red eye’s abilities. With it he can snipe at long range no problem and do really well in close combat with hipfire shots. Red eye with G75 or G41 is not a pleasant surprise in smoke and much more dangerous melee merc than Phantom.

However Grandeur suits least for Aimee ability. PDP with 60 and Fel-Ix with 105 body shots work better with SNITCH debuff. Fast merc with Grandeur is good, but for that role you could take Kira and do something similiar with Burst rifle or Dreiss, but get ammo station, OMFGSPACELAZORS and “Kawaii”
