A similar poll was recently run on another ET forum, and the results were scarily similar. To this end I did a straw poll on a regular server I play on, and again, the average age was older than I expected (and again I wasn’t the oldest!!).

Great to show this to the wife so she realises it’s not all a bunch of kids playing…

You can kind of tell it’s a little older here though tbh - ppl are generally a little more considered with their remarks? Perhaps avoid the ‘I xxx your mom’ kind of stuff?

Seen alot of technical networking skill on here (amongst many other things) - maybe not at a level you would normally associate with a teenageer or even an early twenties guy - I think there must be quite a few professional ppl mixed with younger gamers, development and graphical guys along with nutters like me :wink:
