Was my first night on server for ages, and i only managed a few maps, but except the fact i died alot and had no clue what todo in the Camden map is was fun tho

I still dont get it tho, and yes my preference is WET, thats what I always will be comparing DB against, and i have to say, right now DB is loosing big time imho

atleast get the movements as we have them in WET, movements and weaponhandlings, DB is feeling like any average BF or COD game to me, and i dont like those games.its like im stuck in 2 feet water trying to move

RTCW, WET and ETQW is the reason im a dedicated Fanboi of SD, dont dismiss those games completely please :frowning:

and as usual i dont have the strenght to talk about charachters, maps and other important stuff, before we have gotten the core gamemechanichs to be as close to previous SD Games as possible (not Brink) :wink:

Maybe give those in here a free key to invite 1 of our mates to help also, that would give many of us the incitament to be more online, if we had a mate we have played with for years to discuss the game with, my 2 cents

Good to hear that Imnot the only one who thinks this about DB in the current state. This movement/weapon behaviour is the main reason why I dont play DB anymore and because this isnt worse enough, the actual maps are gameplaywise really poor. They look nice but they play bad, thats what I think. This is killing my personal fun and I decided to give it a next try when a new update is released.

The movement is no way as bad as in CoD or BF3. In both of those games jumping is horrendous. The only thing DB is missing from W:ET is strafe jumping imo.

As for weapons, I think SD are doing their best to please as many crowds as possible. I personally prefer W:ET style since you could get a triple kill with 1 mag, but it still felt earned thanks to the longer TTK. But I’m aware that there are other people that prefer a faster TTK.
