Adjust Hz

(moerkved) #1

Does anyone know if it’s possible to adjust Hz? Having 60-75 Hz on my screen is ****ing laggy and disturbing.

Standard LCD’s only support 60-75Hz

You do get others that will support 120Hz

Unless you’re using a CRT that is.

If it’s the same as ET:QW (like some cmd’s are) then it should be:

(seta) r_displayRefresh “<your screens refresh rate>”

seta is in brackets because it’s optional, but using it makes it a permanent change, so you won’t need to enter it everytime you load up.

This is the internet, moerkved, you’d think it’s always the obvious but it really is 50/50.

Ok, well the fact that you only mentioned 60-75Hz I thought the game was only showing supported modes. Which led me to think you weren’t using a 120Hz monitor. Anyway, I can’t offer any more help as I don’t have the game yet.

like i said, on PC when in game hit CTRL ALT TILDE to open the console, then type in r_displayRefresh "<your refresh rate>. In your case it would be r_displayRefresh “120”
