Addressing the issue with "trolling".

Okay. So I wanna bring up the fact that recently I have been called a troll here on the forums.

Firstly, I am not a troll.

I secondly cannot recall when this first came up, or I’d be able to pin-point why people think I am a troll. Oh… Wait… I remember now… The “meme” page, where I asked why someone would pay $50 for a free merc…

That doesn’t make sense. Is it my spelling? I try to always use proper spelling and grammar. Is it my thoughts? The fact I am so honest? What is it? This is the biggest issue. No one is telling me what I am doing wrong. Maybe if you told me what I am doing wrong, I could correct it, and not be a troll…

Lastly, stop calling me a troll. I don’t appreciate it, and I am sure there is a comunity guideline, about slander. If there is, I will start reporting people… Not because I am troll, but because I do not appreciate this, it is un-fair for me.

Update:

- Baiting players to flame; derailing threads to incite an argument or negative behavior; and simply for the sake of causing trouble are not behavior accepted on these forums.

If you didn’t want to piss me off, you would keep the name calling to your self. I will be reporting people form inflammatory behavior. Again, This isn’t me being a troll with the flagging system. This is me defending myself from attack.

Again, what am I doing wrong?

The issue is that when I originally joined this forum, I was closed beta testing. My regular thing is to test out a game, provide feedback on the forums, and then move on to another game. But this community is great.

I haven’t played DirtyBomb in a year now, but I like to stay active on the forums, since I live alone.

So when people call me a troll, I know I am not a troll, but it makes me feel out-cast, especially when it’s a group of people calling me a troll.

I don’t use the forum because I like the game. Infact, I agree with MMOHut with this game being too generic. Not to mention my favorite class got an SMG, instead of being Katana based. I use if for the social interaction, and no one want’s to be the hated person.

you arent a troll but…you are just, idk. Most ppl are posting stuff like “HERE IS MY IDEA”
or “what is your favorite blablabla in game”. and you are using this forum like facebook page.
but i do agree this community is great

well, you broke the chain and thats not nice at all
he may have thought you have done it on purpose

if you got called a troll because you discussed with somebody about ingame stuff and you didnt play in a year, well, then you deserve it

btw, phantom can still be played katana based but a good one will also use his firearms for maximum efficiency

You’re not a troll, you’re just a really random dude. People probably think you’re a troll because you post random one-liners on threads half the time.

Who cares? Just start saying more serious things on general and then it will stop. Oh and the fact about the 50$ thing on a free merc, it is because it was clearly a joke and you talked like it was serious.
