I do believe that all console players both on the 360 and PS3 would like there to be a similar partying system to those in other triple A shooters, like Call of Duty. What I mean is the pre-game lobby where you can invite your friends to your game. After which you all join a game together instead of franticly sending invites to your friends and hoping to god that they are able to join. I do understand that there is some sort of party system that can be used, but it is not well known and it is not as easy as a pre-game party lobby. If you (developers) decided that you wish to stick with your current system please release a video that details how to party up efficiently, using both visual and audio tools to help us consumers understand how to party up with our friends. After all Brink is all about teamwork and its hard to have very good teamwork with a bunch of randoms who don’t even use mics (more prevalent on PS3.)
Addition of a "normal" pre-game party lobby
I voted yes, though I think the current system would work if they added some different functions.
Warm-up modes in privates.
Allow you to start a private then turn it on public.
Start fireteam at menu and bring it wherever you go.
I don’t think anyone would disagree with this, in a game focused on MP it is a must.
But i think if i was to prioritize, lag would the first thing that needs to get fixed. I dont know if a Lobby system can even be patched in. I think if they were to add it it would have to be in the form of free DLC.
I think this is agreed among all console players. Please give us normal lobbies.
I would also like to add that we can set up our own private lobbies with no AI’s
wanting to introduce into a clan but without the option of running practices, walking through map points and hashing out a strategy this game as fun and as team focused as it is will never make it into fully organized clans.
Anybody who thinks this feature is bad is a useless fanboy nut job.
There isn’t one thing that would be bad about adding a lobby system, or at least being able to start a fire team before finding a match.
I forget who or where, but someone on the forum said they thought it was great to not have a lobby and keep people that aren’t hardcore fans out of the game because someone wanted it to play more like the other popular shooters.
Uh, hello, simplicity here. Making everything better, no exceptions.
