Accuracy nerf for all guns?

I have been playing for a bit and I really have to say this.

Apart from single-shot rifles, and burst fire rifles, the guns in this game seem far too accurate. Now, YES I do know that this is meant to be fast paced, and YES, it is meant to make it feel like a skill based game.

But how on earth am I supposed to use a Dreiss, or even a Stark, without being killed by a Skyhammer using the stock rifle at a range of half a map?

Shotguns are alright as it is, but maybe more falloff, as I have been killed at extreme distances, that have literally made me shout at my monitor, “HOW DOES THAT EVEN WORK?”
But assault rifles… ugh, they are just too accurate in my opinion.

A little ragey, yea I was mad while writing. But does anyone else share the same thoughts? Or does noone even use the Dreiss, so I am the only one with this problem?

Yes, Dreiss could use a buff, but god please leave accuracy alone.

This is a Quake3 style FPS, where weapons are accurate, but movement is extremely fast.

Rather than accuracy being determined by in-game factors, its all about where your crosshair is, and how fast the enemy can move away from it.

I am really not sure about giving a buff to the Dreiss. Anyway, the accuracy feels fine IMO.

It is either a case of nerf everything except the Dreiss, or just buff the Dreiss, and after the Rhino patch, the devs don’t seem intent on giving the Dreiss any love.

I’d say accuracy while moving needs to be tweaked a bit,

The only weapons that are too accurate seem to be SMGs, some of those little shits are better at range than an assault rifle due to their larger fire rate and clip size.

Problem is that dreiss isnt exactly underpowered, buff it in any way and it will be blantly overpowered.

If anything he could use a rework, less power, more consistancy. Right now you either wipe teams or getting rekt.

As for accurary in this game, i would like even more accurate guns so lets just keep it where it is, you wont please everone.

shotgun need more spread, its ridiculous that every shot gun is deadly mid range, and even more close raange.

Aura/proxy shotgun should be downright useless from any range beyond pointblank, but shotguns have no spread right now.

Also one of the shotguns should be slug.

No. This is a TERRIBLE suggestion. You didn’t even offer an argument as to why it should be changed.

I would say nerf spraying, by making gun spread widen faster over time, encouraging people to tap fire more, instead of spraying their gun wildly.

It’s not just the rifles, hochfir and crotzni can harrass Dreiss and Stark users easily. You’ve just got to be that much better to make the best use of these rifles (or use them as support)

but isn’t there already enough FPS games like that? I’d be playing CS/BF if I wanted to tap fire at all.

Certain weapons in this game feel to be blooming quite a lot, Dreiss AR is actually one of them, issue with weapons like dreiss is that if you make them accurate… there you go, you just eliminated any need for SMGs as Dreiss is now pin-point accurate CQC weapon with higher per bullet damage and covers up all range from close to long.

While it definitely needs to be tweaked, it as to be done in some specific kind for this kind of weapons, maybe make it bloom a lot when you go with high RoF but let it come with fast bloom recovery? that would make it viable if you kill your targets fast, but still wouldnt excel over SMGs on close quarters… and would retain its versatility on range.
