Accents on this game are awesome

Just watching some gameplay videos and I love how the accents are stressed beyond realistic levels. Goes with the realistic “caricature” theme rather nicely.

From the game play videos what are your favorites?

Personally I’m rather fond of the “African” accents, hopefully I get the game soon enough so I can make a guy named “Okonkwo”, if you get the reference, good luck with your IB exams.

BTW, are my “random” topics annoying anyone on the forums? I’m just trying to deviate from the normal questions and bring up some fun discussion is all.

Yeah I really like the way the game has that global feel to it. As it should. It’s people from all over in one place. Too many games (even some games made in europe and japan) cater only to american culture and as an american I find that to be unfair to my friends overseas.

i like being able to pick the accent for my toon, it adds more depth to the customization and makes my character even more unique.
Has been mentioned from how many different accents we’ll be able to pick?

not really, i find ranting and duplicate threads far more annoying :slight_smile:

Anyway, I really hope that they don’t start to grind down. I mean it’s going to be hard to ignore some crazy accents and after a while they might start repeating too much.

And some of them just sound weird.

i remember paul talking in a video for a split second about the guy who did the southern accent, i think it was the hip-hop gamer one, so if theres a southern american i assume theres other american accents

its from congo, which i didnt really like, course im a Michael Crichton fan so i read the book first then the movie, always end up disappointed when you do that
