Abusing Team Shuffle

I’m really getting tired of the opfor abusing the calling for shuffle when they’re losing.
“Oh teams are unabalanced!” - It’s rarely the case.
As someone mentioned in another post, shuffle should be automatic at start of round and that’s it.
Won’t be playing stopwatch again until this ‘feature’ is fixed or removed.

If you’re losing the teams were unbalanced. That’s the mindset of some players sadly.

Calling for a vote is hardly an issue, though - it won’t pass without their entire team + 1 actually voting yes, and that tends to only happen when the match is unbalanced.

Got to love repeated vote shuffles on a 7v7 game on those min10 servers, happens really often on SW servers.
Tragic thing is, when a shuffle is actually needed like a 7v5 situation on match start, nope won’t go through.
But if the “to-be-loser” team sees the opportunity to get shuffled in the winning team, hell yes!

Worst situation I had with this was on Trainyard, plant first c4 in my first life, get shuffled to defenders, acutally get minus XP for blowing up my now teammates, defend the rest of the map second objective, very well, almost no harm.
Second round my new team does the attack even faster, enemys call vote, fail getting it through 2 times, quit their games, leave the server to imbalance…
Numerical team balance was fine up until the ragequits btw

I do. Especially if it’s a stomp. Unless it’s in the last 60 seconds which is basically just a person being salty and wanting to avoid a loss.

I hate those votes where they wait until the game is totally over and they call it. I always vote fairly, but in all the unbalanced games I’ve seen only two actually pass a shuffle.

i personally hate it when the other team calls a vote to shuffle when there is less than 2 minutes before the match ends. and its even more annoying when it (the vote) passes :frowning:

far as i remember rarely was the shuffle ever called, let alone ever passed. asian servers.

They usually pass with me, the amount of salt that is generated is… If the world ever runs out of salt, they just have to find games.

I experienced my first team shuffle ever the other day. The match started as a 3v2 and by the time the map filled in the teams were a mess. I have to say, I was shocked to see it actually work since I have never seen a team shuffle succeed ever before that.

I do think team shuffle should = map restart but that’s just me.

The problem would be as soon as they did that then there would be certain people who leave the match and you can start all over again with shuffling the teams.

I think there is no way to fix this cause some ppl will always find a way to fuck up the game for others just so they can be on the winning team. If it would be shuffle/reset vote, some will leave making it unbalanced again or with autobalance it will have the same effect.
Yes winning is more fun but in order to play a game there have to be winners and losers else there is no game, but some people don’t seem to (want to) understand that.
I’ve also had bad experiences with unneccesary vote shuffles going through in the last 5 minutes of the map or just before winning the first half of a stopwatch.

There is nothing the devs really can do about this, this is more of a problem of respect and maturity among the players.

Make it so people can’t call for a vote shuffle more than once per match, or 3 times per day or something.

It’s really getting out of hand. People just refuse to believe things are fair and call it constantly.

News flash - Life is not fair. As @Cappe mentioned, there needs to be a winning team and a losing team.

To quote a not so wise old man from a horrible movie.

You even notice what you’re doing here? Honestly. You disagree with a posts statement, 4 posts later you disagree with the opposite of the statement. And on top of that you write down exactly the same thing in a slight different form as the post you disagreed with. The hell?! Think two-times about a posts meaning before you brainlessly abuse the disagree button like you did for so long with Dislikes.
